Don't Look Up - (2021)

Director: Adam McKay.

The all-stars home-theater flick "Don't Look Up" is a somewhat funny allegory about social media and U.S politics.

Though it's not the most original, it is funny in between the "Jokey Jokes" that are reminiscent of Saturday Night Live.

There is not much to say about this movie, I liked Leonardo DiCaprio's acting - He reminded me of Philip Seymour Hoffman.

The other cast is not as good - but that's also part of this genre...

Things I didn't like:

1. The "fact" that in this movie "the world" is only the U.S.A and other countries are only briefly mentioned.

2. The ultimate family values and the obedient character-less wife who is quick to forgive her cheater husband.

3. The all-mighty-god that "Even Scientists" pray for before they die.

4. Meryl Streep.

Verdict: 1.5 / 5 ★ - Waste of time.
