Director: Steve Stone.
I love watching flawed movies, I feel like I learn so much from watching others' mistakes.
In this case I learned (again) about the importance of a good exposition and establishments of characters, motives and conflicts.
It's a flaw I recognize in the screenplay more than acting or directing. Though the director is also the writer in this case.
The big idea of the movie is interesting and surprising. The lead actress Claudia Black is on par with Sigourney Weaver, and it was a little sad to see her in this role, as she deserves much better ones.
One thing I didn't learn, and it's a big mystery for me, is how this film even got into production. There are so many flawed movies out there with a high budgets. Where do they get the money? How is it possible they can do it and so many other talented writers and filmmakers can not?
Verdict: 1 / 5 ★ - Trash.
